I wish I would have done this sooner.... Being in business since 2006 I have had my share of websites. Mostly built by customers that did web design. The downside to this approach was I was the one running the backend, and I am the furthest from a web designer. But as a business owner whom "wears all the hats" you learn and do what you can.
