Great people, very knowledgeable, personable and wonderful customer service. Having only ever walked by, I came in with my ring (that I didn’t even purchase there) for a cleaning. I was expecting to pay for it like I have at the big box stores in the mall. Nope! Free cleaning. I came in a second time, months later for the prongs on the same ring to be tightened/adjusted. I definitely thought I’d have to have to pay for the adjustment and it had a lot of adjusting. Nope! They helped me free of charge! Not only did Sonora jewelry make it so my ring was in better shape than when I came in, they took the time to care and answer every question I had. They let me be a part of the process and solve any issues I may have had with my ring. I was treated like family. You can’t get that at a big box store!

I had an unbelievably positive experience buying an engagement ring for my fiancée at Sonora Jewelry. I'd initially looked at purchasing a ring online, but was spooked by the consistent quality issues that plague the big brands. I accidentally found Sonora Jewelry Design as I was walking through downtown Sonora, and boy oh boy am I glad I did.

The team made sure that I was well informed and included during the entire process (design, stone selection, etc.) allowing me to feel secure about the investment I was making. The process was a breeze, due to excellent communication and professionalism.

Like most people buying an engagement ring, I hadn't bought one before, and wasn't sure what the process was. The team helped me confidently walk through the process, allowing me to purchase the perfect ring, well within my budget, and in time for the proposal.

My husband and I went there to finally look at wedding rings after getting married during the pandemic and not being able to. The lady at the counter helped us by explaining the different types of rings, and brought out her collection which was very beautiful.
In the end we purchased a beautiful set for me and a matching ring to my set for him. It was affordable and she even sized it for no extra charge and sent it to me! (We lived two and a half hours away so that was very convenient!) the sizing didn’t take long at all and I had my band in a few days time! Very happy with it! I was super excited to show my friends and family!
The shop was cute, and the area was amazing, and it was a great day! I definitely recommend this shop to anyone! She has rings for every occasion!

Natalie and Rod are an amazing team. They are so talented and passionate about their designs. Its all about the ring but they treat you like a friend and the process was so fun! I am so glad they helped me design my ring. I love it! Dont bother shopping around, they are the best.

My experience with Sonora Jewelry was nothing but fantastic. My fiancé proposed to me the first week in December in Oregon, right before we traveled to Murphys, CA to visit his family for the holidays. The ring he gave me was his great-grandmother's and was two sizes too small for me. Since he proposed only a few days before coming to California for the holidays we did not have enough time to get it sized in Oregon. When we arrived to Murphys, his mother told us we should try Sonora Jewelry Design because she had previous good experiences with them. When we took the ring into them, it was four days before Christmas and we were almost positive we would not be able to get my ring resized until after the holidays since so many people get engaged right before and on Christmas. When we first walked into Sonora Jewelry Design they told us it would not be until after the first week in January before they could get to resizing my ring. However, once we told them our situation and they saw my ring, the two employees, Natalie and Rod, said they would try their hardest to get Lewis, the jeweler, to resize my ring before Christmas. I left my ring at the shop and the very next morning I received a call from Lewis saying he would have it resized by that afternoon. The day after I left the ring with them. I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend Sonora Jewelry Design to anyone!

The customer service that Sonora Jewely provides is of the highest caliber I have ever experienced. For note, I need to be careful what I say here in case a specific individual sees the review so I apologize in advance lol. A surprise is coming in the near forture for her! I called them a year after window shopping for said product and they still had my quote in the system! Since I don't live here, they worked diligently to ensure the product I was purchasing was ready because I'm moving to alaska and driving through to pick it up. Here comes the real reason why they are so perfect and awesome in nature. I failed to call to follow-up if they would be open the day after Christmas. I got caught up traveling. Well they were closed. Devastated, I sent an email/Facebook Message begging if there was anything they could do to get me said purchased product. They somehow received my message and Rod and Natalie both came in to give me the product even though they were closed. That was by far the most humbling moment I have ever had with a store and this proves why Small Business Owners are more important than large corporations. They care about YOU the customer. Everyone in Sonora should shop there. 5 stars across the board. Don't be shy. They love making people's dreams come true!

Where do I start? I loved every interaction with their designers and the owners. They took hours with me explaining each style, cut, and showing me the best options for my active lifestyle. Then they walked through quality of diamonds and cost with my fiancé (now husband) while I shopped.
