They were closed for several days over the Christmas holidays when they had posted that they would be open. They said they would call when they were finished with the repair on my laptop, but they sent an email instead so we didn't get the message until after they were closed for the holiday. When we finally could go to pick the laptop up they said it could not be repaired. If we had known that several days before, I would have bought a new one instead of waiting around for several days for the promised phone call that never came.

My experience was amazing from the first phone call where the tech helped me out in understanding the problem. He gave me suggestions so I could try to resolve the issues on my own. I wasn’t able to so Michael came to my house and quickly understood what my computer needed. He took the computer to their office and the next day my computer was working the best it has in 10 years. I highly recommend this company The communication was outstanding and I highly encourage others to simply call and have a simple conversation like I did. Michael and his team at Alltech computers are great. They have assisted my Accounting Business in setting up our office and systems with security in mind, fixed a laptop that stopped working, printer network issues, and more. I had my email hacked and he was already taking measures to stop the threat before I was aware that anything happened. The service is always fast and reliable. I almost got scammed by this place. I got barbecue sauce on the inside of my charging part to my Macbook. It wasn’t taking a charge so I brought it here. Their recommendation to me was to replace my whole motherboard which would cost almost $1,000 yet they never even took my laptop apart. I got a second opinion and was told all that needed to be done was a quick change of my charging port which costed me under $100. The piece is I got replaced was under $30. My laptop works perfectly fine now and I’m so glad I decided to get a second opinion rather than letting these guys scam me. On top of all of this, Altech made me pay $200 for the assessment they did on my computer after I told l them I was going to get a second opinion. Changing my motherboard wouldn’t have even solved my problem!! The guy who actually fixed my computer told me this is a normal scam these places run to try and get you to spend more money. Watch out!!

I had a fantastic experience with Alltech computers! My iMac had the white screen of death and these guys did a killer job at figuring out what was wrong and fixed it. The whole process went smoothly and they communicated very well. I wouldn't second guess taking any of my computer issues back to them. I Highly recommend the team at Alltech!

Regarding the repair: Josh called me with the initial diagnosis, repair and how much it was going to cost. A couple of hours later Josh found the underlying issue and it turned out to be a less expensive repair. When someone does that you know you can trust them

Don’t go to Alltech Computers in Arroyo Grande. The service took way too long. They took a month to change a laptop battery. it was way too expensive. They charged two 100 dollar deposits and then wanted more money. They actually served other customers that walked in and left me standing at the counter. They told me all the wrong information and then would not stand by their word. They would not give any kind of concession for the very poor service. It seemed as though they just didn’t care about me as a customer.
