APG completed my solar system just before Christmas 2024. My very first complete billing cycle from PG&E my bill was less then $100. My average bill was around $750 throughout the entire year on average, with my summertime bills well over $1,000, even reaching $1,200-$1,300. I asked Coleby to make me a system where my electricity bill was $0 a month without batteries! He came back with 2 plans and explained them very clearly. PG&E forces you to be on time on day usage plan once your on solar, with the hours I consume electricity, there’s no amount of solar panels that would leave me with a $0 bill at a reasonable cost. Even if you make every bit of electricity you consume, the power you take, you get charged a fee for taking it even if you send it all back. You will never have a $0 bill. The second plan he offered, solar with batteries, obviously more costly, and a longer pay back period. But with this plan you could have a nearly $0 monthly electricity bill. Let me tell you it’s been 5 months, I did have a small bill in January, but not only has my electricity bill been $0, I’ve actually been able to make a small amount of money each month! Now unfortunately PG&E doesn’t allow you to apply electric credit to the gas portion of your bill, but any extra you make goes towards your 12 month cycle true up bill. You make extra during the summer, your able to bank it for 12 months, and use that in the winter months if your not making quite enough solar. The solar app is fantastic and I personally watch mine like a hawk. We’ve adjusted when we do Landry to the middle of the day. And I work nights so I also charge my car during the day. Other then Landry, if your smart and pay attention, it’s not to difficult to get your bill down to $0. If it’s a cloudy day today and a sunny day tomorrow. Do Landry tomorrow. If it’s raining for a week, can’t do anything about that. But on a months average it’s never hurt me on my bill. The install was done very fast and inspected and permitted quickly. I happen to be home everyday and watched the entire install step by step, and they were very professional and polite. I also had a new main breaker panel put in by my request and a sub-panel put in my garage for my electric car charger. Coleby worked with my on the price and offered a reasonable payment plan that made it easier to afford the cost with how I was paying for it. Besides the solar and batteries, I also have a new roof put on by specialty roofing. Also a locate company. They did an amazing job, went above and beyond, did a large amount of roof repair and even more then what was originally expected, also such a great experience with them, I also happened to be home to watch them do the entire roof with a large amount of roof repairs from start to finish included tear down and completion inspections by the city in only 2 days! These guys did amazing quality work and I’m glad they work with APG solar!

We had our solar panels installed just over 3 years ago. The installation and the price were much better than other quotes we had received. We recently had our first issue, Inverter internet connection. I was talked through it by Colby. He had patience and is a great guy. We will never regret using APG Solar and will continue referring friends, family and anyone else looking for solar. Great service, thank you again Colby.

Hello, my name is Michael and I live in Atwater. Recently, I had a power outage at the house so I went outside to check the breakers. Shortly after, I noticed that one of our inverter boxes to our solar panels had a red light on the display. I called an electrician which in turn referred me to APG Solar located in Atwater at CAFB. I drove out there to speak with someone to see how much it would cost to come out and service our system. The gentleman I spoke with was Coleby. He is one of the installers/technicians. The next day, a technician named Jio came by the house to run a diagnostic on our unit and before you know it, our system was back up and running in no time. Jio was very thorough, and knowledgeable at his job. Thank you for your service. Several of my conversations have been with Coleby. Initial conversations and follow ups. Coleby has been extremely helpful in giving his insight, knowledge and help pertaining to our solar issue.
I have the upmost respect for this company "APG Solar " and I would recommend them to anyone. Finding good help in these times is a daunting task. So many people are out there trying to get over on or scam us with evil intentions. Thank you "APG Solar " for being so honest and reputable. Continued success and best wishes.

My family and I purchased an older home in Merced and quickly found out that electricity rates were sky high. We called APG Solar and Ron got back to me extremely quickly. He provided a very competitive quote for a solar system large enough to power all our needs. His team was able to upgrade our panel and install 30 solar panels in three days after we received all of the work permits. Their work was clean, professional, and timely. APG Solar was recommended to me by my accountant, stipulating that he was NOT receiving any money from the company for endorsement. I've trusted my accountant for over 20 years so I knew his recommendation was 100% honest and trustworthy. APG was and has been the best decision I've made in regards to finding a reputable solar company. Recently, we experienced an almost 9 hour PG&E power outage, resulting in a 'fault' red light indicator appearing on our panel. After a quick (panicked) request for assistance on a Saturday evening, I received a phone call at approximately 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Coleby Jerner was and is a lifesaver, taking his personal time to help me successfully resolve my concerns. I cannot thank Colby enough and APG Solar. I highly recommend this company to all my family, friends and anyone looking for an honest, reputable and dependable solar company!

APG Solar is truly the best solar company out there. If you are looking for putting in solar, look no further. I have had my solar for over 10 years with them and I can say without a doubt that they are the best when it comes to questions, services, or even problems that have occurred with my solar. Coleby has done a great job over the years with my family and our solar. He is always so prompt, helpful, and is always there when I need him. I recently had an invertor go out and he was just one text away. He came out and helped walk me through troubleshooting, what went wrong, and is always there when we need anything. I can truly only say great things about APG Solar. They are a great company, their employees really value the customers, and they continue to support local FFA activities and projects with the students. APG Solar is the best out there hands down.
