The Armory Youth Project is an amazing place for youth in Manistee.

It is a free. That’s huge.

Kids 6th-12th grade can take a bus (free) to the AYP, get an after school snack (free) and dinner (free) if they want it.

Students have a huge variety of options while they are at the AYP including homework help (free), sports, outdoor activities (they have basketball inside and out as well as their own on site disc golf) Art, video art/games, quiet spaces and learning opportunities.

They have week long free summer camps.

All of this is offered free, as a Community Service.

This is the old armory, we went there to throw the disc golf course. It was very short but still challenging. I would recommend this course to beginners for sure!
