Possibly the worst utility company I've ever dealt with. Their website is frequently broken. Was impossible to get them to autodraft my checking account after repeated tries (my bank is NOT small). Nobody in billing ever picks up the phone or returns calls. If you're a renter the home owner retains the account in their system and you don't get access to create your own account with them. I ended up being months late thinking that they were autodrafting my account. And now that I've moved out of that residence I'm getting delinquent bills for the property even though I haven't lived there in months and the landlord has moved back in and I was paid up completely before I moved out, and nobody from billing will call me back.

Customer service and human interaction is THE BEST. I like to pay by phone rather than online, and I get to talk to someone who is so nice and friendly every time I call. It is much better than a simple transaction. I had some billing questions/issues recently, and both Steven and Aixa were responsive, detailed, and ultimately get the situation straightened out. Thank you both, you should be recognized personally for the level of customer service you provided.

Excellent customer service by Aixa! We just moved back to CA from overseas and Aixa helped me re-establish service, and helped sort out an unpaid bill left to us by our former tenants. She was sympathetic, responsive, and answered all my questions. She also emailed me the form I needed to submit for auto pay. Later, when I tried to call back and got her voice mail, she returned my call the same day and with the information I had requested. Her expertise and professionalism was refreshing and gave me confidence in the company’s integrity.

I just got off the phone with Ron (from Arizona). What a pleasure!!! I received the best customer service from Ron. I had a few technical difficulties with the Ca Submeter website and he helped me with all my problems and questions. Such patience and awesome positive attitude. I put off calling not wanting to deal with the stress these calls can sometimes bring with online customer support but I will never hesitate with Ca Submeter. I’m an older customer and I have difficulty with technical issues but Ron just spent all the time needed to help me today. Please give him a well deserved High 5!!!!

I was not receiving bills and called the office in San Diego to find. out what was happening. Tried signing up with autopay, but would not accept my signature. Spoke with Aixa (spelling?) who was very helpful.She sent me forms to sign and followed up with a phone call to acknowledge receipt of recent payment. Really appreciated it! Ron is such a fantastic Calif. Sub Meter Representative. This company is great and Ron has made my transition so easy with my new Utility company/Appfolio. I feel confident with Ron and know I will get all my reports monthly as requested. Ron always returns my calls and I never had to hunt him down.
