Celect Studios is not as advertised at all. Stay clear or lose all your money and work diligently to get your money back. Project is 8 months past deadline and no end in site. On our 3rd Developer. The the Developers tell you fake names. American names. But I got an invite from IOS platform for them to upload the “Competed Build” that NEVER HAPPENED but his name was Muhammad. Not Frank. I knew it was a lie after the first developer. But we were already paid in full.

They always want more money and never produce results. They want you to sue. They will never honor their contracts. We lost over 30k and counting and they will NEVER EVER RESPOND. Legal is non existent. Once they get you the “Alpha Build” and solidify the last payment the company disappears. No more calls. No updates. No ZOOM CALLS. No Google Meets. Just missed deadlines and some text messages promising completion but NEVER anything in writing after you have made your payments.

Finally, when you ask for what you’ve paid for “i.e Source Code”, they only send it AFTER you sign a contract to give up every single liability and deny all refunds. They are a SCAM. 1 star is 5 stars too much. They are going to rob you without a gun.DONT ever send a DOLLAR for hosting and maintenance. DONT do it.

A Nightmare Experience - Avoid at All Costs

I had high hopes when I started working with Celect Studios, but my experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. What was initially promised to be a 4-month project has now dragged on for two years, and we have absolutely nothing to show for it.

From the very beginning, it was clear that this company has no regard for industry best practices in programming and the structural development of mobile applications. If you're looking for a professional, reliable partner for mobile app development, this is not the company for you. Their work lacks quality, and the final product is far from functional or complete.

Throughout the process, I went through four different project managers, none of whom had any idea what they were doing. Each time a new one was assigned, we had to start from scratch, and the confusion only grew. They all seemed to be passing the blame around while accomplishing nothing.

But the worst part? The contracts. We had two broken contracts during this ordeal, and getting any response from their so-called legal department was like playing a cat and mouse game. The "legal department" wasn’t a department at all—it was just a wall of silence and evasion. When our "project manager" suggested we contact legal for a refund due to the contract breaches, our request was flat-out denied. They missed every single deadline, broke every promise, yet had no trouble taking our payments when it was time to move to the "next phase" of the project.

At this point, I’ve even filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General because I truly feel scammed. However, I’m not sure that will amount to much considering how this company has handled everything else.

In short, I strongly advise against doing any kind of business with Celect Studios. They are all about getting you in the door and taking your money, and when you try to hold them accountable, they just ignore you or waste more of your time. There are far more professional and reliable companies out there who actually care about delivering quality results and customer satisfaction. Even a one-star review is way too generous at this point.

12 month update, contracted completion date 5-2024.
Building my first app with Celect Studios was a learning curve, but it ended up being a rewarding experience. There were some delays and challenges early on, and I worked with three project managers during the process. Thankfully, the most recent project manager, has been fantastic, responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Our app just went live on the Apple App Store and exceeded my expectations in terms of design and functionality. The pricing seemed low compared to large near shore companies, and while there were some bumps along the way, the final product made it all worth it. Currently, they’re working on the Google Play version, and I’m excited to see it finished. Celect Studios does have the ability to deliver a great app.

We are currently on month 15 of what was supposed to be a 4 month project. We have gone through 3 project managers, 2 sales reps none of which are still with the company. We are 20k into this project with little to no progress in the last 10 months. They very eager to get their payments, and will force you to sign "approval" documents in order to even continue with development. Everything is promised to be fixed in "beta" including design elements which is simply a delay tactic. We were told by our own project manager "Sam" who is based of out "Texas" that they had lost 60% of the staff and would unable to finish our project. He suggested we reach out to "legal" for a full refund since they have admittedly breached their contract over and over again. When we reached out to "legal" they denied our request because we signed a document stating we were okay with how the project has been progressing (which they required us to sign to move onto the next phase) Keep in mind we signed those back in DECEMBER of last year. Here we are 14 months down the road with nothing more than what we saw in December of last year. We were told that the final app delivery would be to us the first week of August 2024 with all the changes and fixes for everything broken, we still have seen anything close to what we would even consider an alpha stage, let alone a final product. Legal is no longer responding to emails as they wrote us a new contract with new terms they were again broken. We believe "Sam" is a one man shop contacting out to 3rd party developers. We also believe he is not only our "PM" but also Legal, and apparently the guy who answer the mainline with "Hello?". Stay far away from this company, unless you have no hopes or dreams to be gutted from you. In the time frame that we were supposed to launch, there have been 3 additional apps that have released that we would have beaten to market by a year had Celect Studios been able to deliver as promised. In our 14 months with Celect Studios they have not hit a single deadline, kept a single promise but had no problem taking all of our money. If zero stars was an option it would still be too good for Celect Studios.

They are in breach of contract and will not return my money. My app was supposed to be done in may of 2024 and here it is October almost November and I still don’t have my app. Please don’t do business with these people thy are not who they say they are and don’t live up to there expectations. Furthermore the lead me to believe that the work in the states yet they are a foreign entity operating in the states. The are actually located in Dubai.

The worst service and possibly a scam.
I lost $1500 deposit after 8 months of waiting for developing a website that never happened. Before signing the contract, they promised the sky and then nothing happened after paying. A big mistake. Filed complaints to BBB and Texas General Attorney

Pitched an idea on the bark app that could change the world. A stacy John and Chloe Morris from celect studios inquired, and I informed them that I needed MY NDA signed before a notary and sent back to me. Not only did miss Stacy john/Chloe morris try to sign the NDA where it said "inventor", AND ignored my request for a notary, and had a business consultant sign where it was supposed to be notarized but when I requested once more, that she have it signed before a notary she gaslit me and showed her true intentions. Signed it TWICE where it said "inventor" with a default font that would not be able to prove in any way that she ever signed it. This was manipulative, sneaky, and im very thankful my father gave me the sense to see peoples true intentions. I hope it was worth it. Because your dishonesty may have just costed you billions. Thank you for showing your true colors so early. Much appreciated!
