I have been using Cognisys gear since their inception - I guess about 10 years now. The reasons their gear stands alone in the marketplace are multifold: First, it is abundantly clear the equipment was designed by people who *know* about photography. Second, the quality of each product is obvious as soon as you touch it. Well engineered, substantial, rugged, yet tactile and friendly. Third is ease of use. Again, this is high technology, state-of-the-art electronics that are tamed into photographer-friendly, usable products. One does not need to be Einstein to drive them. Last and most important - customer service. Cognisys are one of the precious few companies on the planet that understand that happy customers tend to become repeat customers. They will hand-hold you (if necessary) through finding the ON switch, to inserting keyframes in a multi-dimensional pan-tilt-slide timelapse sequence. Their How-to articles and videos are fantastic too. Yep, if only all companies produced such quality, value and service...
