Their doors were closed. They couldn't give me a specific answer why. Not because they didn't know, they just couldn't admit it. The website says they are open. The number I was provided at the library was to a separate center. In Chula Vista. I through other means found an alternative center offering the same resources. I will not be using, or recommending this center. The Chula Vista career center however I was redirected to however seems far better. But that's over 60 miles away, and i don't own a vehicle. I don't have a job. Online agents are available, and you can set up appointments. But i pray they start offering their services to the most vulnerable in our community. That's the only way you "won't have to look at them anymore". You're a career center. You should help them. Not lock yourself inside and hide.

I went here for job training. They offer a lot of classes, have a computer lab, nice classrooms, the teachers and personnel always very helpful. Plenty of parking lot for free. Took ESL and citizenship classes. Offer a lot to the community. Thank you!

This career center is so helpful! Great services to assist with selecting a career and finding a job! The workers here are also friendly and helpful!
My only regret is that I did not come here sooner.

They were able to help me after trying to use their phone to get ahold of unemployment. They then used the super secret direct line.

Nice staff, but rediculse policy! If you want a job, you need to be open 24/7 regardless of having kids to take care of or the distance you need to travel back and forth. If someone wants to find a night shift and far away job, he/she will find it with no help. When ECCC pays for around 6 months of salary it should be considered as a leverage especially most of the time the job/career they find needs no speciality. ECCC needs better coordinators who think out of the box, have better networking skills and can persuade employers better.

East county career center is a great opportunity to search for your new job /career these ladies are very helpful and dedicated to your success whether your a walk in or unemployed they are very kind and patient to your needs ECCC IS located on West main st. In EL Cajon just east of Mollison on the north side there's work shops for your resume needs to applying for work and interview techniques I give them a big thumbs up .

I guess you need an appointment to get there because they won't open the door for you otherwise woman at front desk just looked and didn't even come to check what was need it rude just plain rude what's going on with these people
