My wife and I had used this company for our photography and DJ. As a new husband, it is terrible to see how excited she was that she picked a good company, but what we experience this this company is terrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company FOR ANY WEDDING SERVICE!
Falcon Film Studios sent us an inexperienced and minor to shoot our wedding (16 years old)
We never got notified that our assigned photographer was not attending and who we were getting to replace him
He was on his phone while the sun was setting and my wife had to get up and go ask him if we could do sunset photos which is UNACCEPTABLE that the Bride, my wife, had to do that.
He put us directly in the sunset for photos and when my wife told him that we couldnât see because of the light he said, âclose your eyes and then open quick and I will take the photo thenâ. This is what Falcon Film Studios considers to be a suitable back up staff for emergenciesâŚ. THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE!
This company did not get our photos delivered in one week after the event as stipulated in the original contract.
The inexperienced and minor photographer did not know what hand our rings were on and asked three separate times to myself, the maid of honour and my wife.
We received edited photosâŚ. However, the standard of those photos are UNACCEPTABLE AND TERRIBLE. For the sunset photos, the sunset background is primarily white, it was a beautiful sunset and he edited it complete out, there are red dots from the lens on my face and suit, the edit he used made my wife and the bridesmaid makeup look like Halloween makeup, all our first dance photos are extremely dark to the point we donât recognize ourselves, where the photographer told the bridal party and family to go for photos all the photos have shadows all other outfit and face, my beautiful white shirt is blue in most photos, and he didnât edit anything out of the background.
On our phone call with the company owner Derek, he was rude, condescending and interrupted my wife numerous times when she was expressing her concerns.
We were told by Derek that our photos were âsalvageableâ and that they could get the sunset back into my photos, change the edit and fix the things I wanted. Not only did we pay for quality professional photos, but this should have been completed prior to sending it to us. Why would he send us âsalvageable photosâ in the first place. THIS IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE.
He offered us remedies but only if we would sign an agreement.
Derek kept telling us that he would provide us with remedies and says he will do so âin good faith efforts to remedy any issuesâ but in my opinion he NEVER acted in good faith. How is it good faith when he requires wife and I to sign away our rights to voice our opinion on the product we received. The agreements state we must withdraw any previous comments or statements I said about Derek or Falcon Film Studios, that I cannot make any additional comments or reviews. The agreement had unfair terms and conditions, such as "The Clients agree that they shall not at any time engage in any form of conduct, or make any statements or representations, whether in writing or orally, that mention any dealings, contracts, arrangements with Falcon Film Studios LLC, Falcon Film Studios or Derek Gauciâ.
We did not feel as though Derek was being fair and reasonable when discussing his company, and the customer service was the worse I have ever experienced.
Derek told us via email âIf you or anyone associated with you attempts to defame or slander my company, I will take legal action for defamationâ. He made me feel like I was the problem, like I am bullying him and like I am being unfair
We will not be bullied by legal language and fear of him taking legal action because my wife and speak the truth, truth in our experience working with Derek and Falcon Film Studios.
For Falcon Film Studios to provide any remedy, because for Derek to provide a remedy to us that agreement needs to be signed. An agreement that we would have sign before seeing any product, agree that it is complete.
