I can't say enough how blessed our town is to have Golden Hills IT. Someone tried to hack me. I called Daniel right away, he told me what to do, and then I brought it down to this store, they worked on it, cleaned the hard drive and the hackers didn't get me. It was a close call! I had stupidly tried to install a suspicious software and caused my laptop to repeatedly reboot so that I could not do anything. We were visiting Tehachapi for just a week. I contacted Golden Hills IT and spoke to Daniel about getting my laptop repaired.

Daniel was very professional and knowledgeable! I brought in my laptop and he explained what had happened and what he and his associate Paxton would do to correct the problem. They had to copy off all my data and reinstall Windows. They then put all my data back on my laptop and got it working correctly again!

Had my portable hard drive crash and almost cried.... Dan was able to recover a high percentage of my files and was extremely helpful in answering my many questions. 24 hours after showing up at the shop, my files were recovered and on a new drive as well as heading to the cloud at Dan's recommendation. Went for the first time a few weeks ago and it was a great experience! He was very nice to me and explained everything he did and why he did it. My computer had a problem that he said he had never seen before and despite that he tried and spent time looking over everything to try and figure out what was the problem and he eventually did figure it out and my computer has been running great ever since. Highly recommend this place to everyone that has some kind of computer problem or needs installations! 10/10
