Cute toy store with lots of unique and interesting toys! I took my 11 year old and 4 year old and they were both able to find things they were excited to get. The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable about the toys and games and helped my oldest with his questions and demonstrated some toys. A personal experience you don't get at many places and was very appreciated!

Sad to learn of the passing of the original owner (Ben). Please support local. We must shop at these small shops to keep the island’s ongoing charm. Buy a kite and it will last you decades - speaking from experience.

We have been stopping in at Great Turtle Toys for years. My kids loved it when they were small, and still do now that they are grown. There is a lot packed into a small space. They have a great, quality selection of kites, stuffed toys, board games, building toys and kits, novelty toys and more.

Fun little toy store! Owner was super nice and friendly too, offering to help open a plastic covering for the toy that would have been hard for us to get open without any scissors.

Five stars, hands down. Never felt pressured to buy anything and the staff were super friendly. I was looking at a couple board games they had out and one of the staff came over and taught me how to play both, then ended up playing a game against me! It was super fun chatting with her and discussing all sorts of things outside the game, including life on the island! Really, take some time, go here, and support a small business - they definitely work hard at making a difference.

The woman I assume that owns the store was absolutely wonderful. We say she's the kindest person we have seen in a long time. We had a nice conversation with her and the store amazed us.
