Hilmar Cheese Factory is the biggest produces of cheese curds on the west coast. They have a viewing window of the factory and a great information center. But the best part id the CHEESE! FREE Samples! Not only can you buy amazing cheese here ( highly recommend the Vintage sharp cheddar) but you can taste it. Hilmar has a deli making sandwiches, wraps, pizza, soups and much much more. To finish it all off don't forget the Cream Cheese Brownie.

I love cheese. My husband surprised me on a recent road trip and stopped here. There's a deli, coffee, a small "gift shop" area and a good sized cheese selection for purchase. Upstairs is a whole educational area for not just kids, but adults also. Towards the back there is a viewing window looking in to the factory. I could sit there for days lol! We missed the last tour which means we will have to come back and do it. As a bonus all the cheese was 50 percent off of their already super low prices. We bought 5 different ones and enjoyed 3 of them during the week long road trip.... Can't wait to come back for sure!

After smoking a ton of legal weed from San Francisco, we stopped at the deli and chowed down on some really delicious food!

My kids loved it here. We went on a field trip with my older daughters class and liked it so much we came back that weekend with the whole family! Bring a picnic or buy some of their delicious treats and hang out in the grassy outdoor area after you tour the factory. The waterfall is so cute.

it is the perfect place to stop on the way, the restaurant is open all the time and the sandwiches are delicious, you can not go wrong! they have an amazing cheesecake brownie for only $3! Also you can visit the second floor with some interactive milk-cheese fun things

The self guided tour was fun in a punish sorta way. The squeekers are amusing to me. The food were nice. People were friendly.
