We stayed one night at this Holiday Inn Express in Muskegon, Michigan. The hotel appears to be very new, and our king bedroom still had an overall fresh decor. The bed was very comfortable as well. The room even had a safe to secure valuable items. My husband was happy with the breakfast selections, too. I was especially impressed with staff at the front desk who expressed their gracious thanks to us for staying at this hotel. They were so very friendly and congenial. (Actually, I have never been made to feel so very appreciated before in any hotel where we've stayed!) Kudos to these very friendly ladies! The only thing that could have been better was the size of the pool. Our 5th grade granddaughter (who is part mermaid and loves swimming) was very disappointed in the pool being too small to accommodate the number of people using it. The absence of adults to supervise pool activities made the pool atmosphere very challenging.

My husband and I had a nice stay. The room was clean and the employees were friendly. The breakfast was amazing thanks to Nanci, who went out of her way to make sure we had what we wanted to eat. The breakfast and dining area were very clean. Keep up the great work!

Perhaps our best ever stay at a Holiday Inn Express? Every single employee was kind and helpful. Exceeded expectations. Check in with Ali was wonderful (which, how can a check in be wonderful?), he cares about your first impression of the place! Rooms were squeaky clean and housekeeping was on point. The woman running breakfast was very nice and extra kind (which is saying something considering we were there during WinterFest Volleyball Tournament and the place was crawling with hungry teens)! 10/10 would stay again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is a great hotel! Nice and clean, was simple and easy to get to our room. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
The pool is a little small, it would be kind of weird if other people were there. But we had it all to ourselves and it was nice that it was small, since I was solo with my littles.
Breakfast was amazing and so well rounded.
We really enjoyed our stay and it was a great place to stay near Christmas time. So festive.

The front desk staff were excellent, but the room service could improve by focusing more on details. For instance, the towels appeared worn and past their prime, and there were oversights in replenishing toiletries like body wash and shampoo. Addressing these small touches would elevate the overall guest experience.

Very good experience during my stay. The Hotel is new and decorated beautifully. My room was very clean. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The breakfast was delicious and had many different options.

Our stay excited our expectations. We saw the reviews and booked 3 rooms for a family funeral. Our stay was excellent. The grandkids had a blast in the ultra clean pool and to say everything was clean is an understatement. Everything was beyond clean. We had an issue of our room door not locking so I called the front desk and splendid Amanda. She sent up Joe, their maintenance person right away and took care of the situation. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location for a stay in Muskegon. Newer hotel with all the amenities you'd expect.

Stayed during a very busy event weekend and the staff was very accommodating.
