Definitely wouldn't recommend this store if you care about the quality and preservation of retro games. I visited a few weeks ago and was interested in picking up a wireless Guitar Hero controller.. which I couldn't buy because they didn't have the wireless receiver that's required to use it.

Oh well, then I thought I'd pick up a PS2 game, brought the display case to the counter and.. I couldn't buy it either as they couldn't find where the disc was located at.

So finally, I asked if they sold any spare cases for games as I have a few loose discs in my collection that could use a case, so they let me into their back storage room and.. it's an absolute mess. Game discs are thrown into bins alongside cases with no protection whatsoever, they're lying in shelves and on tables, there's no organization anywhere or any care put into how their inventory is stored. It instantly made sense to me why they couldn't find the wireless receiver and game disc I wanted.

Overall, I got the impression that they don't put much effort into taking care of the games that they're selling, I pulled out a few of the discs from the back room and saw that a lot of them were severely scratched, more than just normal wear and tear. If you really care about retro games and preserving them, I'd recommend supporting a different store.

Just a heads up if you wanna bring your PS5 here to sell they will give you roughly $150 for a $500 console. Digital version new is $500 but they wanna give $150 for it. Huge scam business.

Such an amazing game store! They have something for every system old and new. I love coming here to see what I can find. Plus it's a fun welcoming environment. The people here are very helpful. If you need something and they don't have it , they will get it for you. This place is worth the drive to Oneonta.

The staff is kind and caring about their customers. They don't mind feedback in the nature of improving the overall experience of your visit. Customers are engaged and asked if they have any questions upon entering the facility. The selection is fairly good and plentiful. The inventory is intended to meet the needs of the products sold. I would recommend this store to any of my friends or gamers looking for a caring community to share in a traditional gaming experience.

Store was not organized. Walked in and couldn’t even tell if someone was actually working until you got to the back of the store and they’re all sitting behind the counter on their phones. Customer service definitely lacking. Husband was looking for a specific thing that really should’ve been an easy answer for the people working at a gaming store and they basically looked at him like they had no idea what he was talking about.

Called before going. asked if they had ps4 controllers. They said yes. Got there they said they did not have any ps4 controllers. Then empolyes went back and forth about one they had behind the counter and decided they were not gonna sell it to me. So I wasted time and gasvand that was the whole point of calling first. Just to get there and be told no we don't have any. well we do but we're not going to sell it .
