Love this place! Joining the JK Lee community at Fox Point is one of the best things I’ve done for my family. We stared in spring of 2021 as a way to help our shy kids (then 7yr and 5yr) to get more comfortable interacting with other kids and adults. In addition to self defense instruction via this beautiful performance martial art, the curriculum also focuses on building confidence, growing mental and physical strength, and it reinforces kindness and respect. I love the positive community Mrs Kludt and the other instructors foster here. This place is filled with friends and mentors for every student at any level. My kids, my husband, and myself all attend classes weekly and all agree that no matter how we feel walking in, we always feel great walking out!

I love to go there. Because I know it’s my favorite place and it’s a good place to stay. I love it so I started going there and. And. I will test for 90 days. of tae kwon do. So far my test is positive for both of us. The only reason why I am still in J.K

J K Lee Fox Point is an amazing place. The instructors are always positive and helpful. The instruction isn't just martial arts. They teach children (and adults) about respecting one another and being the best version of yourself in all aspects of life. The self defense instruction is also great including de-escalation in addition to physical techniques. It is an awesome way to spend time with your kids!

I originally brought my son here 4 years ago as an outlet for his energy and to help with his ability to focus. He has grown and matured a lot. He still has a long way to go, and often stands out from his peers, but while expectations are high here, the love and acceptance are amazing. I often find myself thanking the instructors for pointing out the good things my son is doing when I find myself focusing on the negative. As an adult who had taken classes here, I find the same acceptance and patience. I am proud to be a part of the JK Lee family!

The entire staff at JK Lee in Fox Point are amazing! Watching how they work with my kid and the life lessons that go with it, has inspired me to take up class as well.

Being on the wrong side of 50 leaves one with apprehension to try something new like Taekwondo. I can attest that their instructors are great at working with people who are NOT in the best of shape.

If anyone is considering trying taekwondo for their child or themselves, J.K. Lee in Fox Point is the place to join in! It is amazing the level of focus that you find the children achieving and the life lessons were the main draw for me. You see the pride in these kids when they move up to a higher belt and the confidence and poise of the young instructors is impressive. For an adult, the exercise is terrific with lots of stretching involved. Master Gendelman is simply outstanding and how he managed to keep everyone involved while keeping everyone safe throughout Covid is a testament to his commitment to the Academy. I love seeing how proud my son is of his achievements in taekwondo!

Our experience with Mr. Gendelman at JK Lee Fox Point over the past couple of years has been amazing. My two daughters started taking Tae Kwon Do together years ago, and I (mom) also joined in to help to support my girls in working toward their goals. Together we have learned many lessons in perseverance, strength, respect and assertiveness. Working through our belts together has facilitated meaningful conversations about practicing self-discipline to reach goals, which extends to much more than just tae kwon do.
