It was a pleasure working with Derek and Kai Films on a series of educational videos featuring the Georgetown Steam Plant. Our shoots involved volunteer docents and took place during 2020. Safety protocols were enforced throughout the production and the director's kind, patient, and professional demeanour put our participants at ease for the shoot.

The finished videos are beautiful and something our whole team is proud of. I would definitely work with the professionals at Kai Films again!

I highly recommend Derek Johnson as an excellent cinematographer. Having worked with him on two video shoots this pass fall, I was impressed with his knowledge of lighting the set and his ability to film with his two high-end cameras at the same time.

He solved problems instantly where I never had to worry about getting the shots I needed. I was thrilled with the footage and how it turned out, it was gorgeous.

I look forward to working with him again on future projects.
