After spending $6,000 at Gardner White and barely just having this table over a month the table top cracked already. Also where the chairs touch the base the edges of base are dented on all four sides. Wouldn't recommend this table definitely not 100% Amish made or quality. Definitely not a generational table as they sold.it.

We ordered the Covina table and 6 chairs through Direct Buy in Feb of 2023. We waited 23 1/2 weeks for delivery. We ordered the Onyk finish
It had white showing thru the stain where the table and the leafs met. Also, one chair leg looked like it had been beaten with a chain. The quality if the finish is terrible. They sent someone out to try to correct the table top twice and only made it worse. We purchased this table because we were told it had great finishes. Save your money it is not worth the price. We had a Thomasville table and chairs for 30 years and it still looked brand new.

**Update. After a week of having the table we notices chips out of the backs of the chair. The chips are from pushing the chairs in. Apparently you can put a tractor on the chairs but not push them in like most people do. After contacting the company they let us know we could get touch up at menards. Definitely design flaw as the bottom edge of the table is very sharp.

RUN!!!! Run far and FAST!!!! I had FOUR Dining Room tables delivered to the retailer I purchased ALL having debris in the topcoat finish!!! $4100.00 I was paying for this table and chairs and 4 chances to get it right and couldn't. Moreover, I was going to give them one more chance to make it right but I asked for $500 off because I had been waiting for my table for almost 8 months. They were willing to give me the $500 off the imperfect tables..... but who in their right mind pays that kind of money for an imperfect product? Nobody I know!!! I gave them 2 stars because the the actual construction of the furniture is VERY VERY good. They just can't put a finish on anything to save their life........ and as far as I'm concerned their customer service / satisfaction SUCKS!! Make someone wait 8 months for their product ........ deliver JUNK 4 times..... then refuse to give the customer any incentive for their inconvenience. Not what I call a recipe for success. STAY AWAY!!!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending a sale at the Gascho Furniture Co warehouse in little Pigeon, MI. We were blown away by the quality and selection available! Plus, it’s located on the grounds of the old Gascho family farm, which is so endearing. We purchased a nine piece dinning set that’s solid wood and absolutely gorgeous (wish I could add pictures)! It was comparably priced to other sets I’d found online prior to attending the sale. We had actually already purchased a dining set online that was to be delivered the next day, but we loved this dinning set so much that we paid return shipping to send that one back and instead purchased from Gascho Furniture Co. You won’t be disappointed by this company AND you’ll be supporting the local economy! Purchase from them and you’ll win on all levels!

I love the style of my table, however the finish on top is not great...leaves glass and plate marks..I purchased from art van and they came to check. but said it was over the time limit to do anything. Warranty guy said it would go away after time,.......hasn't.
Very disappointed, esp. for the cost of the item, my old cheaper table didn't do that.

We bought the Sterling dining set and 6 chairs that we had upholstered. The table top is a beautiful light stain on maple and the pedestal and chairs are Onyx. It's for our new remodeled kitchen and it's beautiful!! Great workmanship. I dont understand some complaints here about covering the top. ANY good dining piece should be used with either placemats or table cover to protect from all the serving pieces scratching. You want to see the lovely wood then just use large placemats. Big dinners need pads and table cloths. But, yes, you expect the item to arrive without damage. We ordered ours and it was all wrapped in the truck and the delivery guys were extremely careful. I fully inspected this set before the guys left and it is beautiful and we are so happy.

We have spent a lot of money on this dining set and are very disappointed. We bought at Art Van and unfortunately they will not refund. This is my third table just delivered 4 days ago and still disappointed. Found another knick on the table where the leaf fits in. Also the finish is very very poor. You can not use this table for normal use. You must have a table pad AND cloth and then what is the sense of having a nice table. Will not buy from Art Van or this brand again.
