My dogs love visiting the beach. We love to bring a lunch or even our small BBQ and eat at the waters edge. It's so peaceful and beautiful here.

Excellent Mad River area, with fun frisbee park, gravel, water pump stations, some shallow areas with crawdads and frogs, lots of birds flying around, including egret, and some deep areas. Late in the season, lots of algae. I want to try fishing and swimming here sometime. Great place to visit, with cool railroad trestles nearby. Bank is on the sunny afternoon side, deep end is on other side. Beautiful place to enjoy the day and hear the sound of water. Check out the bird nests under the water pumping stations.

It is beautiful as beautiful as it's a nice place to walk your dog or go swimming without going out of county. A spot to play Frisbee golf,BBQ, and just relax. Has bathroom. The " Phillip Riddick , looking pumps make for a scenery out one of his artworks.

Beautiful little 9 hole course along Mad River. Plenty of trees and foliage to inspire creative throws without being overly restrictive. I was there on the 4th of July and it was not very crowded, so I imagine it is usually pretty open year-round

This would be my favorite 9-hole if there weren't discs constantly flying at my head. Hole designs are cool but it's set up so that your pretty much throwing at other teepads and fairways. Don't think I've ever not heard 'fore!' while playing there.
Still a fun and quality course! Free of trash and no homeless people living there, which are the usual complaints for Humboldt courses. Go in the morning when there is ko crowd and you'll have a blast!

FAVORITE DISC GOLF COURSE IN HUMBOLDT!!! I try and hit this place up every week and the people I see weekly make for a great atmosphere. Easy to play but has its challenges. If you want to learn the game this is the best place to hone some skills. Still shooting for an ace here but hope to do it this year. Kid friendly and with river access you could even swim or bask in the sun.

I used to live near there and play all the time. Great vibe with the other players in the course and usually cool to have dogs and kids. River is a nice chill spot after the round too.
