Main Event Independence

We took my son and two of his buddies there for our son's birthday. The boys had a really fun time.They did the challenge course. They played laser tag, and lots of video games. We had the nachos with guacamole,salsa and queso. Which was very good, I had the double bacon cheeseburger really good burger. My wife tried the Chicago style deep dish pepperoni pizza and she said it was very good also. Our son had the Buffalo wild wings. Although I think it was a little hot for him. Overall the food was very good and the boys had lots of fun.

Main Event is always a fun time. We bowled and played laser tag. Leah was a great waitress and her service was fantastic. I get is a 4 star as our pizza was pretty dry and not very good and out of 8 of us who played laser tag, 3 guns did not track the scores, which is not fun. I would say half the clips on the vests for laser tag were gone or broke. They need to invest in some updates for the laser tag vest/guns. We did get nachos and they were good as well as the pretzel sticks. Great atmosphere and overall a good time!

I recently visited Main Event, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, Nikki and Brayden at the front desk made me feel welcome and at ease. They were both polite and personable, interacting with other guests like they were regulars, which really gave the place a friendly, community vibe. Even though it was a quieter time with fewer customers, the staff was plentiful and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly. There was security at the front door, which was reassuring, especially given the rainy weather. They made sure kids weren’t wandering outside, which gave me peace of mind. Main Event offers a variety of fun activities for all ages. There's something for everyone: bowling, a high ropes course, video games, and more. Whether you're a kid or an adult, there's plenty to keep you entertained. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff really adds to that energy. As for the food, while I didn’t try a full meal during my visit, it seemed just as good as other visits I’ve had in the past, and the overall experience was top-notch. So we went on Monday after 4 they sell these cards for unlimited free play then you can buy this other card for laser tag billiards gravity rope and what ever so for 3 cards for arcade and 3 cards for the other stuff came to about $90 doesn't sound horrible but there's a catch you can't play any game that gives prizes or tickets that cost extra I spoke to 2 employees prior to buying our card and neither one mentioned that

This place is falling apart. The bathrooms are filthy, service at the bar was almost non-existent. We went bowling only for the lane to crap out on us halfway through. We purchased game cards but half the games are either broken or a rip-off. They take your money and it’s broken or it’s just bad. I won’t be back and I don’t recommend this place at all.

Main event is a cool place to hang out. I recommend it more so for kids. Wait times can be super long but the activities are fun. The games could be a bit better.

Front desk ladies were rude.. so the experience started out ask expected.. games are duct taped, half working, will swipe your card but not play, balls stuck in games, headsets barley hanging the VR, etc. Horrible experience in Independence MO hoping other locations are better suited.

We had a blast! My husbands company rented out the whole place for their annual company picnic. We bowled, played games, and ate some yummy food. Enjoyed our experience!
