Friendly, welcoming door monitors! I went by on a Thursday evening when there weren't a lot of people there. I also returned that following Saturday and it wasn't bad at all.

I'm thinking that people don't know what's inside yet. Clean interiors, a small restaurant though, compared to the rest of the square footage. I didn't take a look at the menu but I will do that the next time I am over that way. Plenty of activities for Adults and Children. I can't wait to bring my Grandkids back!

Also, I saw that they have a Laser Tag room in the rear of the arcade area. This would be a great place to have a Birthday party. I recommend parking in the parking lot that is over by the old Sears entrance. The other side is commonly used for Barnes and Noble, AMC, and the Mall.

Way better than Chucky, what better than any other game place around tbh. It's fairly new & we went in the weekdays so it wasn't busy. There are so many games I haven't seen before. We got a buy $20 get $20 which gave us about 200 points. At the end of the day when we're done we had around 100, They have actual decent prices, not like other places where you can't really buy much with the fuel amount of tickets that you win. While we were there we played both games that gave you tickets and didn't and we summed up around 190. They have a private bowling section, bar, food, billiards, and games for all ages. I took my 3-year-old son there and there is enough games of his size for him to play which made me really happy. I'm definitely coming back here to try out the food next time

Wonderful first time at Main Event! Cyn was gracious enough to give me a tour of the entire place, Eddie gave us a run down of the cocktail menu and Ana was kind and helpful. Everyone was super sweet, friendly and had the best vibes. I can’t wait to book the party room!

I don't know how long it will last but if you're tired of Dave & Buster's and you're looking for something new this is definitely the place. It's clean it's friendly everything's fully stocked there's plenty of games and bowling and pool tables and a full bar and restaurant. They also have party packages and private rooms if that's something you're interested in. The place is great so far but I'm here at 3:30 on a Thursday so take my review with a grain of salt. If you're looking for something fun to do it's probably about the same value as Dave & Buster's so expect to spend a little bit of money but so far I'm pleasantly surprised.

Had an amazing time exploring the new Main Event. So many games to play. I really enjoyed the art work while playing laser tag.

Best and Easiest Birthday Party! I held my son’s 6th birthday party at Main Event last weekend and it was a hit with him and all his friends . We had the VIP Bowling area, which was a huge treat for such a large crowd. The staff at Main Event was fantastic. They had two dedicated party hosts who ran back and forth getting the right size bowling shoes for each kiddo who showed up. You pay per child, and I added on extra pizzas for their parents. Parents also just got their own drinks at the bar, and commented on how good they were. Everything was clean, easy, and the staff was enthusiastic. We ended up with far more people than planned, and the Main Event team took it all in stride. Every aspect of the party was extremely well organized. Presents were put into dedicated lockers, and the staff even had foldable wagons and helped take the presents to our car! The kids had the best time, and it was so much fun watching them help each other try to bowl, even as they were competing. We will remember this for years to come. Thank you for a fantastic day!

I recently visited Main Event, and I have to say, the experience was top-tier--thanks to the amazing management and staff, especially Sean! From the moment we walked in, Sean made sure everything ran smoothly, ensuring we had the best time possible.

He's not just a manager--he genuinely cares about the guests, making sure every detail is handled with professionalism and a welcoming attitude. Whether it was making sure our games were working perfectly, checking in to see if we needed anything, or just bringing great energy to the place, Sean truly went above and beyond.

If you're looking for a fun, well-organized, and exciting place to hang out, Main Event is the spot--and having a manager like Sean makes all the difference. Highly recommend this location for a great time with friends and family!

We had an excellent time at Main Event in Montclair! The arcade was clean, well-maintained, and had a great selection of games at affordable prices. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, making it the perfect place to unwind.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. When we ran into a small technical issue with one of the games, a team member (Daniel, I believe) stepped in with a smile, making sure everything was taken care of quickly—he even made the experience fun for my kid in the process!

This is definitely going to be our new go-to hangout spot. Highly recommend!
