My daughter is currently enrolled. I have complained to the proper channels about a teacher who never attends class or logs in extremely late EVERY. SINGLE. CLASS. TIME. No follow through or resolution. No response from the teacher after I messaged them. Principle never called me back. The issue is STILL ongoing. Removing my daughter from this school as soon as the semester ends.

My daughter graduated thru MGLVA which was so great, we thought. She has tried and tried to get her transcripts sent to the college she wants to attend and the employees that are supposed to do simple tasks like this so their graduates can further their educations can't manage to do their job. Obviously that's too much to ask from the people that our tax dollars pay their wages! What a complete pain and now the person she talked to have her yet another website to order transcripts which she did but it's not guaranteed it'll be approved to send them to the college...i mean how can you not send them, she worked her butt off and was in honors classes plus graduated early but getting the necessary paperwork for her future is like pulling teeth. Have your child earn their diploma from a different school that actually helps their grads!

I have had three children enrolled with this school over the past four years. All was well for the first two years, then we started having issues that have continued to get worse with each passing semester. This year has been the absolute worst. We are having an issue with one teacher which we attempted to resolve at the parent/teacher level where it should have stayed. The teacher refused to resolve the issue and I was forced to reach out to administration. I have been attempting to contact the school for two weeks. There is no option to speak with a person, only a voicemail. Their policy is to return calls within 24 hours. I have been leaving messages for two weeks and have not recieved a single form of return contact or even an attempt.

I have reached out to K12 to escalate the situation three times and they have reached out to the school, yet they have still not deemed me worthy to speak to. It is now almost the end of the year, and they are basically blowing me off until the year ends, so they don't have to deal with me or my son. I am now forced to reach out to the State Board of Education because there is no other option to handle the situation. There is absolutely no reason it should have to go that far when a return phone call could have handled the entire situation. They make it very clear they are here for the funding they receive for you child, not for the education of your child. My son will not be returning next year.

My son has been attending here for last two years and it’s been a great journey for him and myself. The idea of taking charge of his all educational needs was a little scary at first but with time I got used to it and most time enjoyed helping and guiding him. The part I love most is teachers are always available for the students and learning coaches. You get tons of resources for extra activities outside school hours which is also great. Overall I am very happy with MGLVA and will continue my child’s education with them.

Acted like they cared to help the first two years. We were able to work around my kids appointments and everything. Ever since covid, no help with scheduling and assume your child is just not engaging or participating but they're actually autistic.... which is almost like the criteria for being autistic? Gee..... who knew...

My daughter and I have been more happy with our experience with MGLVA than we ever thought possible with a school. The teachers and administrators have all been very responsive to any need, and each teacher is quick to write back to email and phone messages. My daughter has felt cared about by her teachers. I have been impressed by the organization of the curriculum as well as by content. This school is a place where students will be treated as individuals. Highly recommended!
