So Austin was fantastic. I am having a gaming PC built for my son. I was given a parts lists and being completely uninformed on gaming PCs Austin was amazing. I actually got better parts than the original list and added an anti virus and was still under budget. The only thing else I have to get is a windows key for 25. But Austin was awesome and my 12 yr old gamer fell in love with the store. If was ALOT to take in tbh but a tech persons dream. Didn't make me feel like an idiot and was SUPER helpful recommend 10/10

I HIGHLY recommend micro center for all your tech needs, specifically Cody Grabbe, and a few of his co workers, they are helping me build a very specific black and gold themed PC and help point me in the right direction in terms of parts, and knowledge. They shared my enthusiasm for my PC build and made me feel confident in my purchases! Cannot thank them enough!!!

I've always wanted a Microcenter in my city, and safe to say, I was extremely excited when I heard they were opening up here finally. I've been waiting for it for years and it was like a toyland for PC nerds. There was so much there that I couldn't even begin to comprehend it all. The atmosphere was amazing, but there was something that really bothered me. I understand that it's the employees' job to make sure that customers are finding what they need, but I and my friends were asked around 6 or 7 times while we were there...and it didn't really feel very comfortable.

It got to the point where it was overbearing and I wanted to leave as soon as possible, and I don't think that's how I wanna feel when I go there.

Another thing I noticed is that my friend and I were looking for a specific GPU: The RTX 4070. Base Model. We couldn't find that at all. The lowest tier we saw was the 4070 Super, which was overbudget for what we were looking for. It was very disappointing. Thankfully, we were able to find a Montech case that my other friend was looking for.

The prices are...okay. Some of these sales feel a bit stingy, especially for something labeled a "Black Friday Deal"...I don't think $30 off a $580 GPU is very lucrative...though the CPU deals seemed okay. The 5700X3D was a bit more expensive then what I saw on Amazon by $30 but it was a decent price nonetheless.

Overall, it was an okay experience. I just wish I didn't feel so "overpatrolled" by the staff. And seeing the usual demographic of the customers, it didn't feel good when it felt like we were constantly being watched over.

I want to give a HUGE shout out to Josh Stanger at the Indy Micro Center. I pulled thile trigger yesterday (1/3/25) to build my first PC for gaming. Josh helped me find all the parts I needed based on the list I had created on PC Part Picker and made recommendations that helped me either upgrade a part for little to no extra cost, or chose a more cost effective part that was still reliable. I was able to build it last night and it posted after the first test! I couldn't be happier with my experience and I hope more people go his way for assistance.

The best PC building and tech superstore. Indy is very fortunate to have a Microcenter location. Microcenter has a huge selection of IN-STOCK parts. They have great PC building bundles and offer open-box discounts with a rock solid return policy on top of great prices.

Visiting this location yesterday, we had the pleasure of being assisted by Dorothy. I was incredibly impressed with her extensive knowledge of your computer equipment. She patiently answered all our questions, discussed various use cases, and was genuinely engaging throughout our lengthy conversation. It was a truly refreshing experience, especially considering the often underwhelming service I've encountered elsewhere. Dorothy's dedication to customer service is a real asset to your business, and I hope she is recognized for her outstanding performance.

This is everything that Fry's used to be, and dare I say an improvement. While the store is physically smaller, they have more relevant items. Great place to go if you need 3D printer materials including spare parts and consumables. They also have a great computer peripherals department with a surprising selection of stuff like racing wheels and simulator controls.

This place is really awesome. Staff were super friendly and knew what they were talking about. Honestly I'd paid a little more to have a pleasant interaction with a human than go to another big box store with min wage employees that don't know anything about what they are selling.
