Right next to the ‘cop shop’ so you know you’re safe. No real area to take your pet for morning relief but located next to a neighborhood that led to a park (7-10 min walk). Zero dog parks in king city and strict leash laws. Heavy police presence here so do the speed limit and keep Fido leashed:/Staff was nice and helpful and coffee in morn:)

Not even good for a 1 night stopover. Don’t be tempted by the location.

Extremely dirty, mold everywhere, dirty bedsheets and pillow covers. Don’t know if they changed the sheets. Toilet was dirty. No handle on the shower door. They gave only two towels instead of three.

Laundry machines don’t work, they don’t tell you, they don’t put signs out, and don’t reimburse you for failed attempts at the laundry.

Well first of all the rooms are not as nice as the other motel 6's I've stayed at. Customer service from management is horrible. I cannot believe how rude they were to me and my family....be aware if you rent a room there. I wouldn't recommend this Motel to my worst
enemy...

The most telling thing about this motel is the responses by the motel staff to the less than stellar reviews. In reviews dating back years, they have pretty much the same reply, but nothing seems to change. You’ll probably see the same type of response to this review. Towels were threadbare, no coffee maker, refrigerator, or microwave in room. Shower was very moldy. The rest of the room was also quite dirty.

Fair warning. Got tired driving & decided to stop for 1 night rather than keep on. Paid $110. Firstly- as I drive to room lot filled with 3 harvest worker buses (no shade) doors to garbage bins wide open garbage spilling out all over. Directly across parking from my "room" - a mattress (!) propped against the fence with a guy sitting in front of it. Deep breath-I just wanted to rest so I entered. No instructions for 19" TV w/2 remotes (?). Had to wait for someone to come & decipher convoluted operation. Towels were threadbare. Urine and hair stuck around toilet. A flashing strobe was 2 doors down and went off all night and other intense outdoor lighting made it impossible to have a dark room. Between that and something scratching in the walls (!!) I kept waking up. A.M.- no coffee set up, no hair dryer, no shampoo. Tried to use my curling iron but plugs in bathroom-no power. Flies on mirror. My feet got dirty waking from bed to bathroom. I had looked at a room at Inn right next door- rate $1 less and a world better. I took the Motel 6 room (sight unseen) to save dog fee (3lb adult dog). Huge lesson learned. The ONLY asset is there is a CHP office right next door.

King City is very small and not a lot of options for hotels. This hotel was in a Good centralized location. Room was decent for the price. Towels could use replacement as they felt old and dingy even for a motel 6. Staff was friendly.

Jan 29, 2024 rented a room at Motel 6 for the first time in King City, CA ($80 cash) at approx. 6:20pm. At 7:33pm, sent photo's to a family member showing bugs, fly poop above the bed, dirty bathroom, dirty air filters, torn sheets. Jan 30, spoke with location at 9:50am (Clarice who was GREAT) and emailed photo's, she said cleaning staff was coming in at 10am, they'll get that room taken care of. Had to wait for Mgr. to call. At 330pm, called Bobby, he said nothing wrong with the room (which they had probably already cleaned so he wouldn't see it!), but he can't explain how I would have pictures of the room within less than an hour after checkin. I considered sleeping in my truck it was so disgusting while I stare at the ceiling with an alarm covered in fly crap. I slept with my clothes on and the pillow inside of a tshirt because it was so bad! No shower, it was NASTY. I couldn't get out of here fast enough, the next one I booked was almost the same – I just want a clean, decent hotel – is that too much to ask? I want my $80 cash reimbursed, Mgr Bobby is a Bass without the B. Location was great, cleanliness, non existent. I just want my money back Motel 6!

Awful hotel. Overpriced, dirty, no amenities, and rude staff. I travel all over the country and this is one of the worst values I've experienced. There was still a used bar of soap in the little towel cubby from the last guest, hair stuck to it and everything. The lady that the front desk chastised me for filling a single zip lock bag with ice for my backpack cooler bag to hike pinnacles with (not a large chest cooler) and wouldn't let me get ice for my trip. No shampoo or conditioner in the room. Oh, and some lady went up and down the rooms calling for the migrant workers to be up to leave at about 9:00 at night, after I put my son to bed. I would never stay here again, even for a short overnight.
