Royal Elite Rolling Video Games - Gaming Truck
SEVEN STARS!! If that were at all possible, I’d rate Royal Elite Rolling Video Games as such! First, let me get the specifics of the gaming truck and it’s amenities out of the way because though it was all great, that was not what increased the rating from 5-Stars to 7-Stars and certainly not only what will create the length and depth of this review.
My son turned 16-years-old and he’d asked for a gaming truck for his birthday party so he and his friends and a few family members could come share in his special day and hobby. Deon, the truck owner showed up on time as “scheduled”. (I’ll explain the quotes around the word schedule later) In fact he showed up a bit earlier than scheduled which was even better and unexpected. He also happily accepted to stay an hour longer than we’d initially requested because the kids were having so much fun. (He was there from 6pm to 10pm).
His truck was spacious, clean, flashy multi-colored lighting both inside and outside, air-conditioned (but not too cold), huge TV monitors both inside the truck and 2 outside and had a huge array of game selection for the kids, which our guest certainly enjoyed.
Deon, was a great host to the kids, helped them when they needed any assistance and even patiently sat with one of the adults who’d wanted to learn how to play the games, and showed her how it worked, what to do and set the game on ‘easy’ mode for her to play on her own. She loved it and stayed in the truck the WHOLE time! That was so awesome seeing the kid come out in her. Deon is a people person, he comfortably socialized with both kids and adults. He was in and out of the truck looking in on the players and socializing with others as though he wanted to make sure everyone had his full attention. How awesome is that?!
Now, let me express why Royal Elite Rolling Video Games (Deon) earned those 2 extra stars!
I had initially booked another gaming truck (which was local to where I live) 3-weeks before and reconfirmed that booking a week prior to my scheduled event for Saturday October 15th 2022. The night before the event, that (useless) company ‘texted’ me that they had to cancel because the gaming operator was “sick”. I couldn’t believe the text when I’d read it the next morning at 4:22am. I texted, called, left voicemails begging and pleading with them not to do this to me. I expressed how important this day was to me and my son and how impossible it would be for me to find another truck on the same day, and on a Saturday at that. Again, the useless company, never picked up the phone to return my call to express any regress or show compassion to the pain they’d caused, but rather, texted me again reconfirming the cancellation and that there was nothing they could do. .
Which leads me to why I’d put quotation marks around the word ‘schedule’ when I was referencing Royal Elite Rolling Video Games arrival time. After calling several companies around town and then venturing out of town options, my husband got Deon and the phone, shared what had happened with us and the useless company and Deon immediately became empathetic to our hurt/pain. He wasn’t schedule to work on this day as he’d shared he was actually spending the day with his daughter for her birthday. He however immediately accepted our request and promised to be there for us by 6:15pm (he showed up at 6pm).
The likelihood of being able to not only book a video gaming truck on the same day, a Saturday and one that was actually as sophisticated, clean, professional, kid and family friendly, kind-hearted host and exciting as Royal Elite Rolling Video Games truck was – is well, nothing short of a miracle.
Thanks to Deon, my son never knew that was ever an issue with the other gaming truck, guests were all impressed with the truck and how classy it made my son’s BD party!
