We have lived at the cascades for a little over 2 years at this time, and our experience has been great so far!

-We have gone through two property managers since living here and both have been great. The current property manager organizes many community events throughout the year that range from barbecues, free breakfasts, pool parties, and organizing food trucks to visit.

-The maintenance staff has been incredibly accommodating and efficient in all aspects. Services requests are taken care of almost immediately in most cases.

-The living quarters are very spacious and well kept. The gym is small but very confident to have so close. The pool is great in the summer and is kept very clean.

-The location is ideal being so close to the McKnight road entrance and right off of I-279. We are within 10-20 minute driving distance from downtown Pittsburgh to the south and countless restaurants and miscellaneous shopping to the north.

We’ve been living at the Cascades for a little over a year now, and have had nothing but a positive experience. They were accommodating and helped us move in quickly during a time when we needed it most. The apartments are spacious, giving us all the room we could need, and having a pool as an amenity is a huge plus! We’ve felt at home since day one, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a genuinely caring management team.

May times people do reviews to be hostile or angry . I however have nothing but good things to say particularly about the staff. Believe me some upgrades are warranted but customer service and professionalism are important to me. The Staff (team) made up of Carlie( forgive me if spelled incorrectly), Dee Dee, and Bruce ( if others they are also included) are exceptional people. Dee Dee when she answers the phone you can actually hear her smiling. Dee Dee is probably the most patient person I have ever met. Carlie, I am impressed by her willingness to go the extra mile to make a person happy, your willingness is appreciated and does not go unnoticed. Bruce pleasant , efficient and punctual and consistent. Thank you to the Staff of Cascades for doing a great job!

We are going on our fourth year of living at the Cascades and we absolutely love it! The office staff and maintenance crew do a fantastic job making the Cascades such an amazing place to live. The townhomes are beautiful and the grounds are very nice as well. We highly recommend it!

Living here has been great. The landlords are friendly, and the maintenance team is always timely and helpful. I also really enjoy the community events, and having food and coffee trucks stop by is a nice perk.

My favorite apartment yet! I adore my 1 bedroom apartment!
The space in the 1 bedroom gives plenty of room to be creative in your decor, awesome if you have a pet since there's a small back yard, and a beautiful secluded scenery. I have been there over 2 years and the community has made several improvements to my apartment and within the community. The location is prime--close to literally any store you need, downtown, and a quick traffic-less route on those Steeler game days to the North Shore. Reaching out to staff with questions, or needing a resolution to a problem is never an issue--they are always professional, friendly and responsive! Couldn't recommend this place enough! Something about moving has always been fun and refreshing to me (shout out to all my help along the way). The Cascades became a home I never wanted to leave, and the refresh I was searching for.

I lived here for 2 years and I would never recommend this place to anyone. The front desk people were horribly rude. I had multiple issues and I was always met with attitude and rudeness. Seriously, just call and ask for information. They are all very rude and do not care.

There was a broken pipe above our roof that leaked water all over our patio and backyard, so our yard was mud and patio smelled horribly. I complained multiple times and it was never fixed. During the winter, the water would form a giant icicle that would go from the roof to the floor and would block the entrance. We took photos and asked for something to be done but nothing was fixed. We lived there for 2 YEARS and no one fixed it.

Our dishwasher was broken for months. It would not clean dishes and was clogged. They would have a maintenance guy come in once a week who would just throw dishwasher cleaner in there because it smelt so bad. I had to reach out for months until they FINALLY replaced it.

I went to the pool with my sister and boyfriend where I was harassed by neighbors about guest limits and if they lived there (I lived alone).

I went to the dog park with my dog where instead of growing grass, they had mud and mulch in there. Dogs would just eat the mulch and get sick.

They pretend to have a biking trail and bought rentable bikes for the community but it is a small field that you cant ride a bike in and becomes a swamp when it rains. You cant bike around "the neighborhood" because the Cascades is down below a giant hill so i guess they expect their tenants to bike in the parking lot. Long story short, no one uses the bikes and they just sit there for show.

The family that lived above us had kids that were constantly screaming. I complained multiple times and nothing ever was done about it.

When we left they took away my full deposit for "scratches" and a pile of dog poop in our muddy yard. A yard I might add that we were unable to use since they never fixed the pipes. We spent HOURS cleaning that apartment before we left. I still owe money after they took my deposit but they blocked me out of my account so i have no way to pay them and they never answer the phone.

I have never had such a terrible experience with renting and will be screaming from the rooftops about this horrible place till my last breath. You are the worst.
