I really like going to the pier. It's always nice to walk out along the lake no matter what time of year. Lucky that the day I went the sun was out and it was clear. Went down the local restaurant after walking the pier and had a coffee. It made for a great morning. I highly recommend visiting Luna Pier.

Nice lotus pods on the beach and pier after a good storm. Small but quiet if you go at night or during the of season. I do not go during the summer so I have nothing for that feedback

What a lovely spot. When you feel a type of way, the vastness of the lake can make your own worries seem smaller.

I got to go on a bad day, it was raining and windy out. I still loved it though. There is a nice little beach and a long pier. Its only $2/hr for parking and That's all you have to pay so not bad. I enjoyed it.

I am both amused and irritated by the paid parking permit enforced year round. This is especially frustrating for locals who live right outside the city of LP. I understand it is a profit driven policy but all it does is annoy most people enough to not come back - especially if they don't see the signs or know its enforced 365 days a year - and get a ticket. Why do we need a parking permit in the winter to take photos of frozen water or geese? The pier is neat. The beach is polluted, dirty and like most of Lake Erie smells pretty awful. There isn't anything at The Pier to equate to paying for a trip to fish, bird watch or walk. The "lighthouse" looks cool but is small and not worth a special trip if you're from out of town.

Great place to relax, play in the sand and catch some sun. Just don't use the bathrooms.
