Attended for the first time unsure what to expect. A member of staff gave us an extremely brief summary of what was available; it would have been nice if it was labeled up a bit.

There are a selection of 'rides' for you to pick from and you just stand by a piece of equipment and one of the staff comes and sets it up for you. This happens pretty quickly but it's a bit annoying being reliant on someone for it.

There is a car, motorbike, some 'pods,' some more serious rides where you are strapped in, and various shooting games with guns.

The pods allow you to pretend you are on a rollercoaster as one example and also do some shooting games.

There are a couple of more 'thrilling' rides which allow you to ride more extreme rollercoasters- for these you are fully strapped in for and you go literally inside down (as well as virtually).

It's pretty realistic for about a minute but then it can make you feel a little nauseous. Problem is because the ride is ongoing it can take a little while to stop if you decide you don't like it.

Unfortunately, there isn't any option for a 'cooperative' game/escape room style VR experience that we were made aware of.

The staff were very attentive in the place and very polite and helpful. They didn't leave you waiting long.

However, the 3*s is because 30 mins felt like enough as we were starting to feel sick, and also you can't do anything co-operatively. Definitely one for older children if they are going to try it.

Also not sure how Covid secure the whole place was-handles of all the equipment were not wiped between customers and neither were the headsets.

Think we will stick to the inflatables next time

Poor first experience of VR gaming. We went as a 4 to play together (in the cage) and 1 of the guns didn't work, and there were other glitches. Refused a refund, because technically we had use of the whole room, but nothing was made clear and it was a really disappointing experience.

My son had a lovely time here today for his birthday. We hired the place for an hour and the staff were brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Very deceiving in their marketing advertising their VR equipment to be of good quality when in turn almost half of the machines didn’t work. Quality of the machines were really unconvincing such that they were very blurry, as well as not aligned to the game. Games were 1-3 mins long so if you did want to play every game you would be done in 10/12 mins because staff did mention one machine is completely the same as the other. The reason for this review is justifying £22 is a very dishonest price to the quality and experience offered. Considering half the equipment worked hearing language from staff being “I’ll just check if this actually works” is really not good enough. We left this place speechless after realising how much we have been robbed and deceived from what we saw online to what we actually experienced.

2.5 stars. Some good tech there, interesting machines some of which go upside down. What let it down was the software. Mostly simulators some of which had ps2 (at best) level graphics. The worst thing was the 4 player shooter they called the call of duty style game. It was a cheap, Chinese, low quality attempt at a shooter. Very disappointing.
Staff were friendly enough and helpful though.
