This school has a very welcoming community. My only complaint is that the classes aren't for pure beginners. The professors teach based on the assumption that you already have an idea of what you're doing, so if you're coming here to learn from square 0, I would recommend taking some foundational courses online first. The instructors are easy to approach though, are very knowledgeable, and will take the time to sit down with you and explain anything you're stuck on. UAT also offers tutoring, and the tutors and students here tend to be night owls, so you can find help all hours of the day and night.

The teachers are incredibly dedicated, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the students' success. The curriculum is well-rounded, and students are encouraged to think critically and creatively.

The school environment is warm and inclusive, fostering a strong sense of community among the students and staff. There’s a real focus on both academic excellence and personal development, which helps students grow in confidence and abilities.

The extracurricular programs are fantastic, offering a range of activities that allow students to explore their interests and talents beyond the classroom. Additionally, the communication from the administration is always clear, and they’re very receptive to feedback from parents.

I had the privelige of attending the University of Advancing Technology and learning from some of the most esteemed and knowledgable faculty around. I was in awe of the facilities on campus and enjoyed the experience that I had in all of my classes immensely. The staff truly care about the students and sincerely want everyone to learn, grow, innovate and challenge themselves! I had tried other colleges and they could not hold a candle to the experience here at UAT.

My child Amara attends this school. She does live in campus housing at founders hall. My overall experience with the housing process was ok. My child was a minor so everything was placed under my name. One thing they could change is possibly place the student name and parent name together because when I went to pay the dorm fees I could not find her cause I had to search for my name and not hers. Another concern would be student discipline I was notified that several instances occurred and I should have been able to move my student but I was told I would incur fees if I moved my student. That’s just not right.

Stay away from here. It is a scam. You are charged thousands of dollars for nothing. The community colleges at least give you access to research databases and decent libraries. Expect nothing like that here.

Pay close attention to how the staff talks to you. After you speak, they always pause for a few seconds before talking. It's not to be polite, they are just waiting for you to finish because they don't know or care what you are talking about and have nothing meaningful or personal to contribute. An actual academic would be engaged in the conversation and have a lot to share about subjects they care about.

Maybe a few professors here are actually knowledgeable about technology, but it takes way too much time and money to even get to that point. Once you are, you realize you can learn anything they "teach" you on your own at far less expense.

And don't bother with their "graduate" program. The big tell is that you don't have to do anything to enter such a program.

It's sad that the government thinks this is a real school. It's just a money-making scheme taking advantage of people who have never been to an actual university and don't know better.
