Took our 2003 Thunderbird to the shop to fix our convertible roof. They said yes they could fix it and would need to run a diagnostic test. Fine. That test was $330.00 besides the roof the test found a few other issues. They called me and asked if they should fix the leaking air conditioner hose. Sure I said, it’s just a hose. Well without mentioning (at least to my recollection ) they had to run another diagnostic test on just the air unit. That was $235.00 now I’m thinking it can’t be that bad it’s just a small hose. Well we get there and the work on the air unit was $742 plus the damn test of $234 equals $976 to do the air conditioning issue. I took the car in just took it in for the roof. Honestly I don’t have any idea that repairing a leaking hose would cost almost a $1,000. I received a call from the shop and we worked it out, it ended up I thought one figure was the total bill when it was just to repair the air conditioning issue. It was on both of us, they gave me the cost of the air service and I thought the $742 was the entire bill. In the end we walked away feeling much better.

I took my 2015 Kia Forte to Virginia's and they did a great job with communication and assessment. A couple of weeks later, one of the issues wasn't quite fixed and the team immediately took care if it at no cost. Super respectful and friendly. Would highly recommend for friendliness, efficiency, and accountability.

A very efficient, friendly and attentive shop. Our go to place. We picked it on a whim years ago due to it's close to our house. Over years of several cars they have been on top of the best service. Thoughtful, full report, photos and even able to discuss must have repairs. It's the way a service shop should be - welcoming, not intimidating and not making us 'car novices' feel ignorant. Took my wife’s 2016 Town and Country Mini Van with over 138,000 miles with noisy lifters into Virginia Auto and two days later we picked it up and it was purring like a kitten. The team at Virginia Auto were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend if you’re having any auto issues don’t hesitate to reach out to Robert in the service department to set up an appointment. Pricing was very competitive and reasonable.

Just a note to say that for over 25 years we have used Virginia Auto for various vehicles we owned; every employee and the owner have always been professional, fair, speedy and reliable. A special compliment to Robert and Michelle, who work the front area and have the most interface with customers. Virginia Auto was top class from start to finish! I had a sudden issue with my car and was able to make an appointment online for the next morning to drop it off. They even got me a complimentary uber home! Robert kept me in the loop and sent a text with a link to my service report which included photos of the issue which was very helpful! My car was fixed that day and I’m so thankful to everyone there who helped me! I will definitely be going back for any car needs I have!

Amazing service!!! -From the first phone call to ask about pricing on services that were exorbitantly high elsewhere, we were treated kindly and with the utmost respect. The service we received from all staff was incredible. The mechanic took us into the garage and showed us the issue and explained everything he was doing and what should be done next. Absolutely no pressure to have more repairs done than what was needed. We definitely found our mechanic!

We are fairly new to the area so this was our first time using Virginia Auto Service. They completed an oil change, tire rotation and an extremely thorough vehicle inspection… we were very impressed!! This place exemplifies customer service at its best!!
