I recently visited VR Station in Istanbul with a friend to try out some VR games. The location of the place is nice, but I would strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot.

However, my experience was less than satisfactory. We paid 150 TL each, plus an additional 20 TL each for using a card. The service we received was subpar, to say the least. I encountered issues with the VR setup, and when I approached the staff for assistance, they simply laughed it off and insisted that nothing was wrong. Even though I found the accuracy of the VR to be quite poor, the staff member refused to adjust the setup, as he didn't see any issues from his perspective. As a result, my friend and I only managed to play for less than 15 minutes before we were charged the full amount of 370 TL, equivalent to approximately 14 USD, without any explanation or resolution of the issues we faced.

In light of my experience, I would advise anyone looking for a quality VR gaming experience to consider alternative options in Istanbul. VR Station left me feeling like I had wasted my money with little to show for it.

I was there and I got claustrophobic. We played for 3 minutes and I wanted to leave. The guy charged us for an hour. The most ridiculous thing is the reason why- he lied that this is how the game/computer works. It charges per game. Haha. Yeah. It’s the first time I see the computer. Right. Very unethical.

This place is great! We had a lot of fun playing shooter games, and the staff was very friendly, they explain the controls beforehand and help if you get stuck.

A great and affordable place with too many of games to play. You can play up to 6 people at the same time, there are single player and multiplayer games. There are some multiplayer games that can only be played with a group of 4 people max. and some with 5 or 6. Don't forget to call and book before coming 🙂

Place offers a wide selection of games to play which is great. We booked for 7pm and arrived exactly on time but had to wait for 15 minutes. We were then given a good tutorial on how to play Arizona sunshine which is the game we decided on. Once in the vive headsets, we noticed that the controller's tracking performance was bad. They ran at max 25-30 frames while the rest of the game ran at a higher frame rate. It seemed from the monitor they were using that the controller's and sensors needed a firmware update. That could've been the reason. We had booked for an hour but they asked us to stop at 45 minutes. We told them it hasn't been an hour and they said they had to accommodate another party after us. We ended up paying for half an hour. The room s are setup with desktops on top of a high shelf with headsets connected to them using a spring hanger connected to the roof. Works well for the most part. They have multiple size rooms that fit 3 and 2 people. Unfortunately, one of our party had to be in a room separate from us.Overall not bad but scheduling and controller frame rate issues are a turn off.

This place was amazing and the guys there were super friendly, also they have a wide variety of games and it's a nice place for a date or groups because some games require 5/6 people
