I have been attending the Together We Can Conference in Lafayette, LA and the National CASA Conference for years. I have been using the Whova app since 2020. That is when it first was used by the conferences. There are so many things you can do on this one app.

I love this app! You can connect and network with so many people! You can connect by your home location, your profession, with stakeholders, by the college you attended, your personal interests, and many other ways. It is a great way to network with like-minded people who are there for the same reason. In our case, it has always been the well-being of children.

I also love the different activities that are on the app - making or joining meet-ups, sharing photos, answering polls, adding questions for your upcoming sessions, learning about speakers, and so much more. One great thing is the documents for your sessions are right on the app, and there is a place to put notes while you are in your sessions.

I definitely recommend this app for any type of conference!

I recently used the Whova App during my college conference, and it was a wonderful way to interact with other college students and make new friends. The Whova App was a fun and engaging app during my conference. Its ease of use and ability to interact with the organizers with questions was very helpful. The only issue I had was navigating through the app for the first time since I was a first-time user. But overall, I love using the app.

I really found using the Whova app at this conference as well as other conferences I've attended very helpful. The Whova app provided all the information for the week and helped me set up my agenda with reminders. Introductions and contact information for the speakers along with handouts for each topic as provided. Also included was a map to navigate the buildings and classrooms with ease. Whova is one of the best and most user-friendly apps I have experienced, especially for such a large and comprehensive event. It made it easy to stay on top of the agenda and be aware of current sessions. The connectivity features were particularly valuable, allowing me to engage momentarily with colleagues, share ideas in real-time, and seamlessly participate in various activities. The ability to share thoughts and collaborate with others throughout the event was incredibly useful. The Whova app made my conference experience more meaningful. The ease of use and having the ability to engage with the Attendees, Speakers, and Peers was exceptional. I will recommend this app to anyone attending any type of event. It provided a great user experience. We were allowed to start interacting before arrival to the event. Virtually meeting before we even got there was awesome! We connected and set up outings for our evenings and I think this app allowed us to both concentrate on why we were there and enjoy our off-time with the meet-ups and outings. Having recently used Whova for a large conference I attended, I was pleasantly surprised by how effectively the platform facilitated both the planning process and the overall event experience. This made me think how I could leverage Whova for our own internal training conferences.
From the moment I logged into Whova, I was struck by its intuitive design. The interface is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through various features. Setting up my profile was a breeze; I could add my bio, interests, and even upload a profile picture. This feature allowed me to connect with other attendees who shared similar interests before the event even began.
As an attendee, I appreciated how Whova streamlined the entire event process. The registration was straightforward, and I received timely updates about the agenda through notifications on the app. One of my favorite features was the ability to create a personalized schedule. I could easily select sessions I wanted to attend and receive reminders, ensuring I didn’t miss out on anything important.
What truly set Whova apart for me was its focus on enhancing attendee engagement. During the conference, there were numerous opportunities to interact with speakers and other participants through live polls and Q&A sessions. I felt more involved in discussions because I could ask questions in real-time and see what others were curious about. The networking features were particularly impressive. I could view profiles of fellow attendees, which made it easy to identify potential connections based on shared interests or professional backgrounds. The ability to send direct messages and exchange digital business cards made networking seamless, although the one disadvantage was that numerous vendors from the expo kept messaging me in order to make contact and set up meetings, I found this rather annoying. However, I was able schedule several one-on-one meetings with relevant conference sponsors that led to meaningful conversations.

I really like the Whova app. This is my third time using the app. It made my conference experience enjoyable. I love to engage with the other conference attendees and participate in the different polls and answering questions as well as the speakers. It also gives you the opportunity to meet and network with new attendees. It gives you a chance to compete with other attendees to see who has the most engagement using the app and be on the leaderboard. If you have breakout sessions, you can see the different sessions you have chosen and what it is about and then do a survey on the speaker. You also get announcements from the organizers so you can keep up with what is going on during the conference. You can also post photos which gives you an opportunity to show other attendees what you have seen, and you can see what the other attendees have seen too. I recommend this app to any conference that wants to be able to have their attendees engage with the other attendees as well as the speakers and organizers and make it a great experience.
