We just had Royal Elite Rolling Video Games come for my grandson's 10th birthday party. The kids loved it! Deon was fantastic and the rig was nice, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and different event.

SEVEN STARS!! If that were at all possible, I’d rate Royal Elite Rolling Video Games as such! First, let me get the specifics of the gaming truck and it’s amenities out of the way because though it was all great, that was not what increased the rating from 5-Stars to 7-Stars and certainly not only what will create the length and depth of this review.
My son turned 16-years-old and he’d asked for a gaming truck for his birthday party so he and his friends and a few family members could come share in his special day and hobby. Deon, the truck owner showed up on time as “scheduled”. (I’ll explain the quotes around the word schedule later) In fact he showed up a bit earlier than scheduled which was even better and unexpected. He also happily accepted to stay an hour longer than we’d initially requested because the kids were having so much fun. (He was there from 6pm to 10pm).
His truck was spacious, clean, flashy multi-colored lighting both inside and outside, air-conditioned (but not too cold), huge TV monitors both inside the truck and 2 outside and had a huge array of game selection for the kids, which our guest certainly enjoyed.
Deon, was a great host to the kids, helped them when they needed any assistance and even patiently sat with one of the adults who’d wanted to learn how to play the games, and showed her how it worked, what to do and set the game on ‘easy’ mode for her to play on her own. She loved it and stayed in the truck the WHOLE time! That was so awesome seeing the kid come out in her. Deon is a people person, he comfortably socialized with both kids and adults. He was in and out of the truck looking in on the players and socializing with others as though he wanted to make sure everyone had his full attention. How awesome is that?!
Now, let me express why Royal Elite Rolling Video Games (Deon) earned those 2 extra stars!
I had initially booked another gaming truck (which was local to where I live) 3-weeks before and reconfirmed that booking a week prior to my scheduled event for Saturday October 15th 2022. The night before the event, that (useless) company ‘texted’ me that they had to cancel because the gaming operator was “sick”. I couldn’t believe the text when I’d read it the next morning at 4:22am. I texted, called, left voicemails begging and pleading with them not to do this to me. I expressed how important this day was to me and my son and how impossible it would be for me to find another truck on the same day, and on a Saturday at that. Again, the useless company, never picked up the phone to return my call to express any regress or show compassion to the pain they’d caused, but rather, texted me again reconfirming the cancellation and that there was nothing they could do. [As a potential gaming truck customer reading this review, I urge you to click on my reviews in my profile so you may know that name of that useless company, so as to avoid the same fate they tried to instill on me].
Which leads me to why I’d put quotation marks around the word ‘schedule’ when I was referencing Royal Elite Rolling Video Games arrival time. After calling several companies around town and then venturing out of town options, my husband got Deon and the phone, shared what had happened with us and the useless company and Deon immediately became empathetic to our hurt/pain. He wasn’t schedule to work on this day as he’d shared he was actually spending the day with his daughter for her birthday. He however immediately accepted our request and promised to be there for us by 6:15pm (he showed up at 6pm).
The likelihood of being able to not only book a video gaming truck on the same day, a Saturday and one that was actually as sophisticated, clean, professional, kid and family friendly, kind-hearted host and exciting as Royal Elite Rolling Video Games truck was – is well, nothing short of a miracle.
Thanks to Deon, my son never knew that was ever an issue with the other gaming truck, guests were all impressed with the truck and how classy it made my son’s BD party!

My 10-year-old son had a blast with Royal Elite Rolling Video Games - Gaming Truck! We attended the Black Joy Parade in Oakland yesterday and stumbled upon this amazing gaming truck. It was a game-changer, quite literally!

My son couldn't contain his excitement as he stepped inside the truck and saw all the gaming consoles and screens lined up. From the second he picked up that controller, he was in pure gaming heaven. And the best part? He got to play with his friends and make new ones, all in this awesome mobile gaming experience.

I have to give a huge shout out to the owner, Deon. This guy is the real deal when it comes to professionalism and passion for his customers and business. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that all the kids had an unforgettable time. I could see the dedication and love he has for what he does, and it truly made the experience top-notch.

Now, here's the kicker. My son had so much fun that he's already begging me to book Royal Elite Rolling Video Games - Gaming Truck for his next birthday party. I have a feeling it's going to be the talk of the town, and I can't wait to see the smiles on all the kids' faces when they experience this gaming extravaganza.

They game on time for the part which is always appreciated but Regrettably, our party experience was far from satisfactory. The majority of the children, parents and including my son (the birthday boy) who attended the event, expressed that the owner of the game truck was extremely impolite. He was heard yelling at them and speaking to them in an unfriendly manner. In fact, at the start of the party, one of the children came to me crying because of the way the owner spoke to their sibling. Even the rules he had set were overly strict, as the children were not allowed to touch the remote controls. If they did, they were scolded and had to put the control down. Moreover, if they wished to change the game, they were required to wait for 15 minutes. Consequently, the kids ended up sitting idly, waiting for the time to pass. The owner did mention to my son that he had the authority to determine which game to play as he was the birthday boy, but the fact remains that we paid for two hours, and it is frustrating that a considerable amount of time was wasted waiting for the next game.

Consequently, all the children migrated towards the jumper, and only a couple of kids stayed in the truck. It was extremely disheartening that no one enjoyed themselves, and instead felt that they were constantly being yelled at. Moreover, many children noted that the game systems were outdated and that there were more adult-oriented games than games for kids. It is a significant disappointment to have spent such a large sum of money, only for the children to not have a positive experience which is disappointing because we had hired this truck before in the past(before COVID) and had a good experience.
