I had the privilege of working with Jake on a wedding recently where he was the videographer and I was the planner. Not only did Jake show up for the ENTIRE day, with a smile on his face... but he did an outstanding job to boot. The day was jam packed full of special and important moments, and he captured them all while keeping his cool. He was a solid person to rely on, and I truly felt that he did an amazing job and was in it for the client at every moment. I highly recommend him!

These guys are amazing! We met Katy and Jake for a drink to discuss what my husband and I were interested in having for our wedding video and it was nice to get to know them a bit before hand. They are laid back, friendly and very easy to talk with. It was great to have an "a la carte" type list of options to choose from so we could make our wedding video exactly what we wanted. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch, these two showed up, filmed, interacted with family, made sure my nerves weren't too crazy and made me feel really calm! They caught the most beautiful footage of our day and our wedding video still blows me away each time I watch - even a year later. It's so magical to re-watch your day that seems to fly by in a second and see the bits you weren't able to see in person. Our video will remain a special treasure to us and we will be forever grateful for Katy and Jake. 10/10 would recommend!!

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of both being in a wedding and being the vendor for a wedding, where Jake and Katy were the videographers. Both times, they were amazing! As a photographer, I have a love/hate relationship with videographers. Many of them feel like they need to compete for space and “the shot” and give very little regard to my husband and I trying to photograph the wedding. Jake and Katy felt like they were a part of our team from the beginning. Having a vendor to vendor relationship and chemistry is so important to make the “behind the scenes” part of your day go smoothly. When the photographer and videographer are jiving, it makes the memories captured that much more real. Their videos are beautiful, and they showcase so much of what you’ll want to remember about your wedding day forever. Jake and Katy are amazing! Here is my basic checklist for consideration when deciding whether to use Riparea Videography for your wedding:

1. Check whether you have friends who are amazing videographers
2. Realize you either don’t, or that they’re already invited and it would be weird to use them
3. Hire Jake and Katy and be blown away by how easy, fun, and professional they are.
4. Be blown away when they deliver the finished product that will be beyond what you expected and with a genuine personal touch or three
